Our Mission

Our mission is to make sewing fun by providing professional training to teach the benefits of sewing, to provide excellent service and quality products to make your sewing easier and to provide friendly customer service to make you a happy sewer.

Our History

We opened our doors November 1, 1986 as Husqvarna White Sew & Knit Center at 159 St. Julien St, London, Ontario. As many of you remember, we had only 400 square feet and a lot of products! We were your one stop sewing shop. We carried the hard to find items and notions you would find demonstrated on sewing shows - and we still do carry these items. We also carried Pfaff knitting machines but stopped about 5 years later.

In February 1997 we moved to 325 Wortley Road, London, Ontario with a lot more space and 2 classrooms.

In September 2001 we started to carry the BabyLock brand of sewing machines and sergers. This gives our customers another choice, with the same great service from our store. 

In 2002 we changed our name to "Joyce's Sewing Shop". 

In 2006 we celebrated our 20th year in the sewing business.
